Shortened name on ticket
I booked a flight online with Easyjet and used my shortened name Ray, but the name on my passport is Raymond .The surname is the same. Will this be a problem travelling from London UK to Malaga,Spain.

In my experience traveling with others who similarly use a shortened name, no, you won't have any problem. If your passport said Raymond but the ticket said Al, that would be a notable difference.
That said, I'm not an official with the BAA or the airline, so you can take my experience only as a single example.

A few months ago I got an email from an airline saying the TSA has started requiring a middle name. If they are being that nit-picky I would be quite nervous about using a shortened name. I think you should call the airline and ask just to be on the safe side.
I realize Easyjet is not in the US so our rules don't apply, but I would still ask. You can't be too careful these days.
