Seating Charts Don't Match
Have a flight coming up in May and recently got an email notification of a change to a new aircraft. Went in to see where I'm now sitting and wanted to compare it to SeatGuru. AA's seating chart doesn't match what's on SeatGuru. Assume in this case I should stick with the airline's seating chart?
Thx.

I have seen mismatches as well as can't find the seating chart cases. The airline's chart should be the most up-to-date one.
In case of non-match, I carefully compare airline's seating chart against seatguru chart list for a match and use it as the best available source. Match the number rows in economy, main cabin extra, and the first class. For example, they have two B737-800 configurations. One configuration starts the main cabin extra from row 7 while the other one starts from the row 8.

Thanks Greg. That's along the lines of what I did - compared the charts and ruled out the bad seats per SeatGuru. I only fly once or twice a year and hadn't come across this scenario before. Thanks again.
