redeeming dividend miles

Jump to last reply

recently booked flights online with us air using dividend miles. Both my husband and I were told we needed to purchase additional miles which we did and were later told we each needed an additional 5000 more which we purchased as our reservation would not go through unless we did this. When all was done we each have 5000 miles left in our accounts so it would seem we did not need this additional purchase.. Contacted the airlines and they said they could not refund the miles or the transaction fee. Told to contact buymiles but their message said any refunds must be handled by the airline. We would like the miles refunded and the fees associated with it . any suggestions?
