I'm flying out on Saturday and all of a sudden I am paranoid about bringing my mousse and spray-sunscreen. (Why did I have to read the "WARNING" on the cans?!)
Anyway, has anyone ever had a problem with exploding cans? (I packed them in baggies just in case)
Also, this is a stupid question (I know) ... but is it safe to let digital camera equipment go through the x ray? I know it is bad for regular film ... never heard anything about digital film.
TIA

don't know about aerosol cans, but digital film, aka computer chips, are ok through airport x-ray.
Are you packing or carry-on the aerosol cans? No problem with them in checked luggage. Don't know if there is any restriction about them as far as carrying on the plane - look on the airline website for Ok things to carry on the plane. Seems like restrictions since 9-11 change every day and are different at different airports.
I worried about the same thing when we traveled in a 4 seater plane - was afraid the cans may explode. The pilot got a real giggle out of my question.
LvSun,
They will be checked in ... thanks for putting me to ease.
Small amounts for personal use (like 1 can each) are permitted. See http://www.tsa.gov/interweb/assetlibrary/Permitted_Prohibited_NEW.pdf
If you're asking about checked in luggage - I've taken spray deodorant, parfume, hairspray. Just in case, they were packed in zipper plastic, but this was not needed.

If you're asking about carry-on, some sprays are allowed now, check the TSA website.
Try to relax, sure it's only pre-travel anxiety, not a real reason to worry
