Qatar, Emirates, Singapore Airlines to Europe??

OK, now you can all see that I am obsessing about this flight to Paris!!

But I have a new question: do any of these very good airlines above noted, fly from New York to Paris?

We once flew Singapore Airlines to Amsterdam, but clearly the flight was bound further, and Amsterdam was just a stop off. I'm thinking maybe one of these might have the same sort of flight, one leg of which might be New York - Paris.

Go to each of their websites and look at their route maps and then you can answer the question yourself. SQ might still fly JFK-FRA.

I doubt any of them do, but a search of each airline's website is the only way for you to know for sure.

The Qatar Airways "route map" looks like a destination map to me. Use the timetable.

JFK-FRA is still flying according to the SQ route map.

Do not think you will find something workable

with those carriers... no nonstop RT I know of that would work

AF best direct or perhaps

try Continental.com EWR PAR my wife and I this past

year got an instant 60000 miles by getting their OnePass CCs

did an upgrade with the FF miles from coach it was super

cheap.... might try to do something like that.

RT non stop for that distance flight would be my #1 priority.

Thanks, guys. I have looked on all of these airlines sites, and was just hoping I might have missed something.

Air India used to fly EWR-CDG, but their NYC-India flights are now non-stops.

If you do prefer foreign based airlines then try British Airways. They do fly directly from NY to Paris.

Only Singapore flies between the US and Europe, with one flight between JFK and FRA. Jet Airways, which has a good reputation, flies between New York (Newark, I think) and Brussels.

Frankly, I don't find much difference between the carriers, when it comes to coach. I have flown Qatar and Singapore in the last year or so, and, while nice, they didn't blow me away enough to sound more than an extra $20 or so. I mean, there simply isn't that much you can do to make coach much better.

When it comes to business class, I would choose the new Singapore business class over a lot of other options, but not the older business class. I've heard good things about Qatar's business class food, but the seating seems average. I've flown Emirates in business class and was underwhelmed.

Sorry, meant to say SQ also flies IAH-DME, in additional to JFK-FRA.

rkkwan: I think I might be losing my mind, or I deleted something by mistake, but didn't you tell me which flights were the best to book on AF to Paris, to be sure to get PE seats?

Your logic was good and I remember you even telling me that I could find the right "coding" when I went to the AF site.

I can't find that message now, and I hate to ask, but could you tell me once again, which are the best flights to book on AF to get on the right equipment to be sure of PE? I will be eternally grateful, and annoyed at myself.

Boy are you FAST. I just found it myself. I was only looking in my more recent threads. Thanks again. I'm just glad you didn't have to type it all out again. Then I really would have felt guilty.
