Points for AA flight likely to drop?

Jump to last reply

I know no one "knows", just curious if any one has seen a trend.

I'm trying to use points from Hawaii (Big Island) to Buffalo and noticed that all the AA Reward miles are for 45K the week after Christmas. I was hoping to travel on Dec 30th and thought it would be a less busy day. Do you think that the points needed will drop below 45K if I wait?

I've been watching it for the past week+ and was wondering if there was any reason to hold out hope that the points required would drop as we are so far out from the travel date.

Any insights much appreciated - enjoy-la!
