But this flight's not until November so I'm guaranteed another half a dozen equipment changes. They're playing a cruel April Fool's joke on me
At least seat assignments don't disappear any more.

I can tell it's been reconfigured with BE seats because there are only 4 rows in the front cabin.
With the 763 that are in BE configuration, you can't tell if it's the refreshed cabin or not. 48 hours prior to departure, you can try posting on the Delta forum on Flyertalk and a Delta employee can probably look it up for you, but it's still subject to a last minute change. Hopefully, there won't be anymore unrefreshed ones by Sep.

As expected the equipment on my flight changed months ago. The flight 2 hours later is now scheduled as a BE equipped aircraft. I've been tracking award availability and today the later flight became available so I took the $100 gamble (no recent schedule changes, darn it, so I actually had to pay!). If I lose, at least I can console myself with the fact that I got to sleep in an extra 2 hours
Wish me luck next week!
PS - the 763 BE cabins are all refreshed by now.
