Mileage Expiration
I just noticed that my partner's Frontier EarlyReturns miles expired on 11/10/2015. He had enough for a couple of tickets to Mexico. He's SOL, correct? Once they're expired, they're gone.

In case this information is of benefit to anyone else, miles can be reinstated at $0.01 per mile. Or, you can fly with Frontier within the next two months and the miles will be credited back. This information came from two representatives at Frontier.

huh, miles aren't worth much more than 1 cent each in many cases. I know I flew recently on Southwest, and for the ticket I got, my miles were worth 1.5 cents each. I guess paying 1 cent for them gets you ahead if you are really sure you'll use them and/or if they are generally worth more than that on Frontier. I know on some international trips with Delta, the miles are only worth about 1 cent anyway (eg, a $1200 ticket costs you about 120,000 miles).

Delta does better than that ... 120k miles are in the ballpark of buying business class to Europe, which can be in the $3500 to $9500 range. (at least they were, prior to the latest devaluation which had about a 20-25% hit).
