London to Morocco/stopover; Passport? Ideas?

Jump to last reply

I'm planning a trip that will combine a trip to Morocco with a trip to London.

1. I would like to fly to London from the U.S. on a round-trip ticket.

2. On arriving in London, I would fly to Morocco from the London arrival airport on a one-way ticket to Marrakech. Ideally, I would depart to Morocco several hours after arriving in London. I would have to clear customs and then check in for the Morocco flight, given this scenario.

3. After the Moroccan vacation, I would fly back to London on a one-way ticket from Tangier.

4. Then, I'd spend 5 or so days in London and return to the U.S.

Question 1: Does anyone see any potential passport or other types of problems that might arise with this schedule?

Question 2: This plan is a "stop over"-type trip where I would be stopping over on the return, not the outgoing leg. Does anyone know of any airlines that might offer London stopovers with a final destination in Morocco that could work for me?
