Trip Report Just back from Phila. to Central FL on US Airways

Hi all. Just got back Saturday afternoon from central Florida, flying on US Airways express. The flights down and back were pretty uneventful, although quite full - almost every seat was taken. A good mix of passengers - a few elderly, the crying baby, a couple small kids coming back from Disney World, some teenagers etc. The airport security check was pretty easy to get through, the worst part was probably the lines.

On the way home, we ended up getting to Philadelphia about 20 mins. early. The pilot mentioned something about a trade-wind (or some wind?) that apparently helped get the plane in a little early. I don't entirely understand what it meant, but it was nice getting back a little early.

At the baggage claim areas, there was barely an airport employee in sight. No one was there to check baggage claim stubs - if I were dishonest I probably could have grabbed someone's bag, and no one would have known till it was too late.

We got a free soda or juice, (alcoholic drinks can be bought) and a tiny (really tiny) pack of crackers. All in all, I had a good flying experience - not fantastic, but good. Greg
