Jet Blue

Is it all it's cracked up to be? JetBlue is now flying out of Washington/Dulles, and I thought I'd book it into Oakland for a SF I'm taking this summer. What are your experiences with it?

Love taking jetblue. Always fly with them from NY to Florida coz' it's so cheap. Have comfy leather seats and each passenger has a small screen TV. Wish they fly to more destinations.

I found JetBlue to be a good airline, but not extraordinary. The TVs were a plus for those who like TV. In short, I would not pay extra to fly with them, which is what I did.

GK

It IS all it's cracked up to be.

I flew JetBlue OAK - JFK RT and loved them. Besides the super cheap airfare, the planes are new, safe & comfortable. The Flight Attendants were friendly and helpful and the flights were always on time.

Also the boarding process was very smooth.

If you're gonna fly Coach, JetBlue rocks! If

Flew JetBlue JFK-Ft. Lauderdale and it was a very good experience, no problems what so ever...and it was a fantastic price! It's probably not worth going with them over one of the majors if the majors are beating the price by a good amount, but if the price is right I would not hesitate one whit to fly with them. I especially liked the seatback TV, have only had that before on international flights, and it made the flight fly by. Crew was cordial, and the cookies/chips they gave are of a higher standard than other airline's snacks, and the seats comfy. One other good thing with JetBlue is that their flight-changing policy is easier and quite a bit cheaper than the others...think it's $25. If the price is right, grab them.

We had a death in the family and had to change the day we had to fly home on Jet Blue. They were wonderful. They treated us with a great deal of compassion and went out of their way to be helpful. When we sent them a copy of the obituary they refunded the extra money we paid to change our tickets. I was treated so well, I would go out of my way to fly with them.

JetBlue is my favorite airline, by far. I have paid slightly extra to fly with them, even though I hate trying to get from JFK into Manhattan. The flights are very timely, with very speedy check-in times, even at their JFK hub. And when I book far in advance, the fares are excellent. I have even flown JetBlue with my small boys... those TVs made such a difference! I too wish JetBlue flew to more airports. But as long as I fly to NYC several times a year, I will continue to fly JetBlue.

Stuck at JFK for a few hours due to a storm in the south, JetBlue set up soft drinks and snacks for all passengers. Nice touch.
