Hotwire.com for airline tickets, good reputation or not?

Jump to last reply

Trying to get 9 of us off on a summer vacation in 14 days. It seems that Hotwire.com has some decent deals on airfare. While I always book on the airlines themselves, this time I am considering Hotwire because it seems that the same flights on the airline websites are costing at least $50 more per ticket.

While checking the available seats on the specific flights using the major airlines websites, it seems that seats are VERY limited.

If I purchase on Hotwire.com, am I guaranteed a seat?

Can a seat be sold even if the seat map looks completely full.

Can Hotwire book confirmed seats?
HELP!

Thanks!
