Heathrow terminal?

We'll be flying American Airlines from DFW next month, landing in terminal 3. Then we fly to Nice on BA. Can someone tell me whether we'll need to change terminals, and if so to which one?

Thanks.

Follow the signs to "flight connections" - you will go through security but not passport control. Your bags will be transferred to Nice.

It's Terminal 1 unless both the Oneworld and British Airways websites are in error.

it should be T-1 -- and it would make a significant difference. T-1 is near T-3, T-5 isn't.

I stand corrected.

I thought they consolidated all their domestic and European flights into the new term 5, but I guess I was wrong......

Underhill,

Flights from LHR to NCE presently depart from Terminal 1, but are changing to Terminal 3. If you go to the BA website you can find out which terminal you are departing from by date.

Go to the Information tab, then which terminal tab, and enter NCE in the airport and your departure date. That will tell you which terminal you specific flight is leaving from.

BTW, if you are AA Gold or Platinum, you can get a seat assignment on the BA website. Go to "Manage My Booking," enter your AA flight locator, and then put in your AAdvantage numbers in the frequent flyer section towards the bottom of your itinerary. That should then allow you to select seats, even if you are flying in economy.

BA fly to Nice from T1 until the 26th Jan 2009. The OP mentioned next month which I understand to mean Dec 2008.

I only wish this were true. Gold gets you nowhere with BA - trust me, I am feeling the pain.

I believe the OP meant AA Plats and EXPlats. AA Gold does not get you anywhere with BA since they don't have the same 3 status levels.
