We will be arriving on AA #70 from DFW to FRA around 7:20 AM (if on time) and need to catch the Lufthansa shuttle to Heidelberg. The shuttle pick up point is in T1 (Arrivals which I assume is at ground level) and AA flights now land in T2. I know we then have to pick up our bags and go through Immigration.
I'm trying to decide if I should book the 9 AM shuttle or just play it safe and book the one at 10 AM.
Any thoughts?

Immigration in Germany typically doesn't take very long. Claiming baggage, well, this might take a while, hard to predict. Getting from T2 to T1 is a four minute "airtrain" ride. Normally you should be fine, but to be on the safe side, I'd book the 10am bus and enjoy a freshly brewed coffee and a fresh German roll or pretzel as a starter while waiting for the 10am bus. And next time, book a Lufthansa flight from DFW to FRA, which arrives at T1 right away
Thanks for the input, mriecken. We used FF miles with AA for our tickets to FRA. AA always flew into Term 1 until this year.
