Hi everyone,
Just looking for some specific information on this. I'll be arriving into Gatwick late on a Thursday night (11pm-ish) and would like to change some currency there. Will the currency exchange places be closed?

I don't know but I doubt it! there are ATM machines that are open 24 hours!Check with your bank they may have a partner bank and will charge no fees for atm use.I know B ofa A chrges no fees for Barclays.Even with fees it's cheaper to use ATM
I don't need an ATM - I have euros, US dollars and South Korean Won which I want to change into GBP. I can always do this in London, but it'd just be easier to get it done in the airport.
Check rates. Generally speaking Exchange Booths located in airport are notorious for giving horrible rates. Just know that exchanging currency to currency always costs more than withdrawing from an ATM directly.
According to Gatwick's web site some exchange facilities are open 24/7. As already mentioned you will get a horrible rate of exchange. If this is still preferable to saving money by using the ATM to then that is your business. Here is the link, scroll down to the part that says, "At the airport."

Enjoy your trip.
