Garuda Indonesia; Dubai-Amsterdam, Economy.
The incoming flight from Jakarta was about 30 minutes late and the onward flight to Amsterdam was scheduled to depart after a stop of 1 hour and 30 minutes.
The complete crew changed here and the aircraft was an Airbus 330-200 and appeared to be quite new.
The boarding was quick since the flight was about half empty but not separated from the on-going passengers coming from Jakarta which were allowed here to spent some money in the many shops at Dubai airport.
Departure was also 30 minutes late. The Economy seats and recline are standard with a little extra space (seat pitch) it seemed. There was a seatback in-flight entertainment system available, but the amount of choices was kind of limited. A free head set was offered. The seat next to me was free (not a surprise with a more than half empty cabin) but a nice extra bonus.
The cabin staff was very friendly but the snack and later breakfast where of poor quality, but I guess that is what I paid for…..
It was a further uneventful flight (which I think is good) and we arrived also half an hour late at Schiphol.
Garuda Economy not so great

I didn't realize they were again allowing Garuda to fly to Europe!
But after a bit of The Google I see they were reinstated in 2009 for 2010 flights. They still appear to be prohibited from flying to the US.
I was speaking with someone who uses Garuda all the time in Asia. He was shocked to hear they were 30 minutes late. That would be considered fabulously early!
