Flight Change Notice - 67 minute transfer time CLT ?

Jump to last reply

I just received notice that my planned itinerary has changed by notice from American. My new arrival time for my flight from MCI to CLT is now 5:13 pm, and the scheduled departure from CLT to CDG is still 6:20 pm. that leaves me 67 minutes to transfer from arrival to departure gate. I'm not worried about luggage transfers, as we're using carryons, but I'm concerned about missing the connection. The next direct flight out from CLT is the next day, and the later flights connect through LHR with arrival times well into the afternoon, fouling up my train plans to head to normandy.

My alternative is to risk the transfer time as proposed, or take the next earlier flight from MCI, which leaves me sitting in CLT for over 5 hours. I'd prefer not sitting for 5 hours in CLT.

Is this too short of a transfer to make?
