I have membership in airlines (i.e., flying Blue, SWA, etc.). If I am traveling with a tour group they make all flight reservations. My Question is: How would I make sure the flight is credited to my award program? With today's technology, I would assume that when my name, etc. is entered that it would show I was an award member.....but assuming is dangerous LOL. Yes, I'm trying to get a LIVE person at the airlines, but as of this morning - I grew tired of punching buttons!!!!!!!!!!

Oftentimes, tours buy bulk tickets which are not eligible for miles, so you may not get any miles.
"I would assume that when my name, etc. is entered that it would show I was an award member" - not a chance.
Your only options are to either call the airline and talk with a live person, or, if you have the ticket number, you should be able to enter it on the airline website and add your frequent flier number to it.
If you didn't give your FF # to the travel agent booking the tour then the airline wouldn't know which ACDB account number to use.
If you gave your # to the travel agent then I would assume they messed up.
You would need your ticket number or confirmation number if you want to add the number online. If you call, you would need to know the departure date and time or flight number and the departure and destination airports.
89you call, after the preliminaries (like pushing the button for "existing reservations"), just say "Agent" or "Representative" or "I don't want to push any more buttons, just give me a human to talk to".
