Hi All,
I have booked an air ticket online, and I have accidentally keyed my first name under the last name column, and I can't check in my flight online.
So I'm just wondering whether will I still be able to fly of my name and spelling are all correct, but in wrong sequence?
*Am flying from Singapore to New York.
Thanks in advance, I'm in a panic mode now.

I have no experince with this type of error but have you tried contacting the airline? I think they would know more on what your options would be. To me, I would say it would not be a big deal but my say means nothing given how the world has become with the names people use versus to what is on their birth certificate/marriage license.
For domestic, the big deal is getting through the TSA agent before security. May have no issue, or may have an issue.
For int'l flights into the US, definitely a problem as the airline has to submit all names and document numbers to the US. The ground agent will be in big trouble if he/she lets you check in and board the flight if the US subsequently question the process and levy a big fine to the airline and the ground contractor.
You need to get it fixed, somehow.
I agree. Get on the phone. Call the airlines.
Yep, call the airline, get the ticket reissued with the correct name.
I just booked a hotel online and accidentally booked it with my surname in both boxes. When I checked in they said.... Hello Green Green!! They giggled at my error. Yes not the same as having a plane ticket but just a quick funny.
I asked a few of the guys at work from SGP about this, including one who flew SingAir to NY a few days ago and they all said there is no issue - the spelling is correct.
All 3 of them use last name as first name and say the mixup on tickets is very common in Singapore.
