Europe trip next month and travel insurance

Jump to last reply

I have been planning on visiting a friend in Germany next month for awhile but have not booked flights yet as there remains the possibility that it may conflict with fellowship interviews. I was hoping to hear from programs but evidently they don't really start looking at the applications til mid September with interviews in October and November. (I'm in medicine so there is this weird electronic system).

I would love to go to Germany if it works but know that if I get a great interview I'd want to cancel. Is there anyway to book a refundable flight or to get insurance policy that you could cancel if something like a job interview came up. I don't mind loosing some money but wouldn't want to lose the entire cost of the flight
