Economy Comfort ATL - CDG - BUT No Recline OR Preferred Economy Seats
Traveling Family of 5 ATL to CDG (then on to BLR).
Due to a few frustrating flight changes we've been given I think a higher class of service in Economy Comfort. HOWEVER with seat assignment we don't have recline. But we'd be in that more forward section. Would that be better than further back in preferred economy and with recline.
I think the answer is yes - a little bigger seats, better service, smaller section of cabin....
This is Delta/AF code share and 767.
Flight departs at 3:32 pm ATL and Arrives 6am
We're in regular coach (not even preferred so far) on AF CDG to BLR. We have (purchased) the Economy Comfort on way home BLR- ATL
Appreciate thoughts.

I just booked Eco Comfort for my flight back from ATL to MUC in January. From what I read and saw on the pics, the seats are not wider than in standard Eco - but you have more legroom and 50% more recline. And free booze, preferred boarding.
If you can't recline at all, I do not know if just the extra legroom will be worth paying the surcharge.

The seats seem to be against a wall.
I didn't pay a surcharge... Part of a complicated reticketing after a major change in itinerary due to cancellation of flight.
As an aside Delta cancelled a flight and then had me 24 hour layover in Europe and arriving a day later. I only knew this when a friend trying to travel with us said couldn't find our ticket. When I logged on to look at reservation a see a small note that there had been a change. Seemed a big enough change that I should have had some sort of other notice.
But alas we were able to get a booking day earlier so that we could accomplish our already arranged domestic travel.

I would NEVER fly to Europe (or any overnight flight) in a seat that didn't recline!! It could be 50% wider; it wouldn't matter.
We flew Economy Plus or whatever BA calls it. We paid for upgrade on way over and they courtesy upgraded us on return. There wasn't that much noticeable difference, but we reclined.

Four of the seats( 2-2) are in front of an exit row so they won't ever recline due to them having to be upright in case the window exit is used for evacuation. The other 3 seats that butt up against the wall is the wall of the lavatory.
