'easyJet ends the scrum'

Big news for both fans and loathers of Europe's cut-rate airlines. easyJet, Number Two on the continent, is moving towards an all-seats-assigned policy instead of the familiar rush to the aisles. Here is the report from Simon Calder, well-informed travel editor for Britain's Independent newspaper:
