e-dreams website-'low cost' airline option-Who are they?

Just wondered if anyone has tried using the edreams web site to book an airfare. We are planning to fly to London from Athens this July.
I am about to make a booking and the cheapest fare for us is with a no name carrier! 'low cost' whereas dearer ones state they are British Air or Aeagean or whatever.
Anyone has any knowledge, experience or advice re the 'low cost' option?? Safety record is important to us-not just flying cheaply.
