Delta in Amsterdam

Jump to last reply

Not only did we have to use their kiosks to scan our passpaorts to get boarding passes but we also had to use their automated baggage check-in machines. You scan your boarding pass, put your luggage in the machine which will print a baggage tag which you afix, press a button, and off it goes. I don't scan my groceries in the supermarket. Why would I like these new systems of theirs ? Got a survey from Delta when we got home asking about our experience in AMS. All they seemed to want to know was whether their emplyees smiled at us and used our names !!! If they're trying to cut down on the number of their employees, this certainly didn't work. Many passengers had to be helped by them. In my written comments, said I would not fly Delta again.
