Curious...ORD to NAN

Jump to last reply

Greetings. Have seats booked from ORD to NAN for August using AA miles. We have to connect thru LAX. I've been told by AA that Fiji Airways will not allow the flight from ORD to LAX to contain a connection - has to be nonstop. So right now we're on this gawdawful early flight arriving LAX 1:50pm - with the Fiji flight departing 11:30pm. Obviously I will keep checking on openings for any later nonstop flights, but was just wondering if anyone knew why its this way?

We've flown this route before in the past, and never had any issues with using connections to LA. Just curious :)
