Continental 757-200 vs 777-200ER on international flight?

Jump to last reply

Hello everyone! I was wondering if anyone had any opinions about the seat difference on the 757-200 international flight vs. the 777-200ER? We're flying from Lisbon to Newark. I've always flown on the 777 on continental and the seats are really nice and wide. Also the 757 has less of a recline, only 156 degrees whereas the 777 has 170 degrees. The 757 is classed as a recliner seat rather than a lie-flat seat, but I never much liked continental's lie-flat seat as it still has that awkward drop off around the knees.

I guess I'm just wondering if any of you out there would say that continental's 757 recliner seat is not worth the mileage? Should we try to change our route to get at 777? There's a good possibility that I will be 18 weeks pregnant and I'm just trying to get the most comfortable seat possible for such a long flight.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
