Connection time at Heathrow
I will be flying from Barcelona back to the States on December 22. I have one hour and fifty-five minutes to connect from a British Airways flight to an American Airlines one at Heathrow. I'm pretty concerned about whether I will have enough time to make it. Any words of wisdom out there? I would appreciate any advice and insight on this matter. Thanks for your time.

You can see what this says:

If you have already bought the tickets you will just have to hope the inbound is on time and the queues are short. Flying so close to Christmas I wouldn't count on the latter, but that is probably more than the minimum connection time.

And it could depend on whether you need to transfer terminals. We flew BA from Lisbon to LHR in June, to connect to an AA flight to DFW; we were pleasantly surprised to fly both into and out of T3, and did not have to transfer which certainly helped timewise.

Thanks for the link, Thursdaysd. It was really helpful. Also, soucaltraveler, it looks as if I will also arrive and depart from T3, and staying in the same terminal will help a great deal.
I hesitated when I bought the ticket (and may still regret he choice in the end), but the only alternative was a two-stop flight rather than only one and to arrive in Miami before doubling back to NC. Time will tell if I did the right thing!

We've made it with an hour with a minder literally running us from one terminal to the other at LHR (and the doors closing), but nearly 2 hours in the same terminal seems doable if the first is remotely on time.
