Connecting in SFO, domestic to international flight

Jump to last reply

I'm arranging a trip for a relative - it's been awhile since I flew through SFO and every time I do it seems different, so...

Arriving UA 423 at 7:33 pm, connecting to Air NZ 7 at 9:15

UA will arrive in Terminal 3, which looks to be quite close to the international terminal with a "connector" between the two.

Is the connector a walkway, or is there a shuttle involved? Any idea how long it takes to get from one to the other and where exactly the connector is (closest gate maybe?).

Does one have to go through security again to get from Terminal 3 to the International Terminal?

Appreciate any help.
