Connecting from Delta to Air Europa in Madrid

Jump to last reply

Hello everyone, i am very new here.

I would like to book a KLM (its a codeshare) flight from JFK to Tenerife.

First leg of the flight from New York to Madrid will be operated by Delta.
Second leg from Madrid to Tenerife will be operated by Air Europa.

Questions:
1) At JFK will I be able to receive both boarding passes so i dont have to check-in a second time in Madrid
2) Will i be able to check my bags all the way through to Tenerife while checking in at JFK?
3) Can i choose seats for both flights while booking?

P.S. I've called delta customer service twice and they said that they are not sure. :\ Maybe you here would be able to help me.

Thank you!
