Coach seating on EgyptAir 777-200/300

Has anyone flown on EgyptAir from JFK to Cairo in coach? I am trying to find out if coach seating has any individual type of entertainment options(individual video screens & movie selections) I can ony seem to find from their web site that they use a Boeing 777 200/300. I have to make this trip in coach, so a business class upgrade is not an option. Any opinions from previous occupants in coach on this flight would be appreciated.

It was 6 years ago, but was on 777. No seat back entertainment. They did show 2 movies/trip. Seating was 2-5-2 and flight attendants moved people around so almost everyone had extra seat near them. (They made it clear that passengers were not to move themselves).

But a lot can change in 6 years.

Egyptair ordered their 777 with 2-4-3 seating (or it could be 3-4-2), the only airline to do so. Don't know if it's changed or not.

I am positive the plane had 5 in the middle since there were 4 of us and we had 1 extra seat - so maybe it was not a 777, but I thought it was.

It's been a few years but I found the seating very comfortable but no seatback entertainment. Since we left JFK around 11pm, we were ready to sleep anyway. The plane was very, very clean. Food not very good and they didn't have liquor. Seems like maybe no ice either but I'm not positive on that.

We had the opportunity to upgrade to business very cheaply but chose not to. We had tons of space and open seating in coach while business was packed! I'd much rather have extra seats in coach on that long of a flight.

Thanks for the info. Rkkwan, I believe you are correct that they use a 3-4-2 configuration on the 777, that is what my travel agent told me today. My cousin will be taking the same flight in November (my trip is in March), so she'll give me the lowdown on the coach "amenities" (if there is such a thing) LOL! Thanks again and any further posts appreciated!

When we boarded at JFK they offered each adult a split of red and/or white wine for the trip - flight attendants could not/would not be involved in the alcohol.
