CIGARETTE LIGHTERS ON FLIGHTS

Jump to last reply

My coworkers and I were just discussing this topic. I smoke but I do not pack a lighter when I travel with carry-on luggage. (1) because you are forbidden to bring one.
(2) If I DO bring one and they scan my purse and find one, I will be the one airport security calls out, pulls over, orders to strip to see what else I am hiding!!

Now, when I DO finally arrive at my destination, HOW are people smoking????? Where are they getting the lighters??? and How are they getting them on the plane?

I guess some airlines are not as strict as they claim to be. Anyone else curious??
