Chicago O'Hare connecting gate question

Jump to last reply

If one arrives at Terminal 3 and at a "K" gate and is connecting to a flight departing from an "H" gate in the same terminal, does one have to go through security to reach the "H" gate?
Looking at the online O'Hare map, I think the answer is no - but I've never been to O'Hare and don't know the airport layout. (Question involves an arrival from DFW and a departure to Dublin.)
