Cancellation of Thai Airway return trip ticket

How can i cancel my 30th Dec 2016 ticket, fly by TG413, all together 9 tickets as it was wrongly booked through cheapticket.sg,?

When i do the booking, i chose the return time to be 19.25, after going through the booking process and make payment, it turn out to be 11.30, and they take one week to reply me, right from the first day which was immediately call/emailed after my booking, I told them to rectify it as i still need to add my nephew ticket, they took more than one week to reply, then show me their IT log, when i ask them how to explained what is show on my trip info as i attached the snap shot to them, immediate they took away my trip info and leave with unable to upload please try later, they said i could be manipulate, the info, i was super angry, i told them okay i do not want to argue with them as it will get us no where, ask her to proceed to change, and let me know how much i need to pay, she said will let me know in 2 to 3 hours, again never heard from her for till a few days later, with the changes charges, i rejected it and decided not to do anything and leave it as it is, ask her to go ahead to book my nephew's ticket as he is under 12 and i can not do in online, again never heard from her till now, which is almost 2 week now from the day i book the ticket, decided to check the ticket online, and there is no more ticket for 30th Dec 2016 morning 11.30 flight, haiz... so i have to book everyone on scoots for the return flight and ended up spending additional S$ 2486.86 for her slow in action and going through all the trouble.
Hope someone can help me and so that i can recuperate some for the additional $2486.86 that i have spent.

This is why people recommend booking directly with the airline rather than with sites like cheapoair. You thought you would save money, but you end up paying a lot more.

Good luck to you.

I don't think anyone here can help you. I would suggest calling the airline and seeing if you can retain a portion of the value of the tickets that you can't use.

I don't see anything wrong with using an online ticket broker, but the one you chose seems to be unscrupulous. Bad luck.

Others might believe that you can select a flight at 1925 to book but end up with one booked at 1130, but not me. I'd have to have proof of that in the IT log. What did the IT log show? That's like saying I chose a shirt to buy online but ended up with a pair of shoes & the website chose the shoes for me without my intervention.

The only difference between booking direct or via an online agent, is the service you get when you need to sort things like this out, which might or might not be better direct with the airline.

The same rant/discussion with the same responses is running on Fodor's. And it makes the same degree of sense. Have never booked a ticket on cheapticket but every other site has always given me three or four times to confirm the details of the ticket and each time I do so. If could understand a misunderstanding of the 24 hr clock but that is not the case here. Something else is going on. I would start with the airlines because they are ones that got your money. But it doesn't appear that the airline made any mistakes.

This doesn't make a lot of sense in many ways. That is about $200 extra per ticket, but it is a lot of money for 9 people. For whatever reason the time got changed, whether it was selected originally or not.

But seriously, it was worth US$1800 more to leave before noon instead of 19:00? Or you could leave the day before, tickets are still available now for that flight (12/29 at 11:30). I never would have spent that kind of money if I weren't sure I'd get it back, and since the confirmation had a different time, there wasn't any way to be sure.

YOu went and bought $1800 more of tickets due to a half day time change, and I presume those are nonrefundable, also, so this is not a good picture.

It is better to book directly with the airline, also. HOpe you got a very good deal for using Cheaptickets, but they are owned by Expedia so I suspect are not crooks. Maybe it's the Singapore franchise that is bad.
