British Airways - paying a price for cheating?

I'm in London at the moment and it's one of the lead stories on the news. BA is getting ready for a "spanking" after admitting price fixing with the fuel surcharges. The stock took a little dive and they set aside some serious cash for the possible penalties.

Virgin Airlines "gave them up".......(they reported on BA few

And WW announced no dividends for the shareholders this year. Overspent on free wine, I imagine.

If you are new to this forum, what they are trying to say is, if you fly on British Airways in economy, you get free alcohol and wine with your three course meal and if you fly on American Airlines, you pay $5 for wine with your snack pack.

And if it's a domestic flight on AA, you must pay for that snack pack too.

I watched a report on Saturday evening and although nobody expects the penalties to be that harsh, the potential is there to fine BA up to 850 million BPs (very serious cash) and jail some top execs up to 5 years in jail (ouch). 2 execs already resigned.
