Best Fares & Airline Options from Raleigh to Belize, March 6-13 or so
I thought I would take a chance that somebody might know what airlines that I should check about finding good fares from Raleigh to Belize the 2nd week of March.
I've not found anything less than $700 on Expedia, Kayak, CheapAir, and CheapOAir.
That may be the best possible fare but I wondered if anybody on this sight had any ideas of other airlines or websites to check.
Just in case, Thank you!
Mandie

There is an airfare website that Arthur Frommer has been blogging about. www.momondo.com You might try that.

p.s. i just went on it & wanted to report that it's fabulous.
it lists all of the cheap fares & the "regular" orbitz-type travel websites, & it displays them in a very clear manner that is easy-to-understand.
and, even better, it has some flights to belize that are slightly cheaper. not significantly, but still cheaper
but, most important, it is the best site that i've seen yet
thanks so much

I just tried that site and its emphasis on searching online travel agents rather than airlines is quite problematic.
Specifically, for flights to Cairo in April it completely missed any display of Delta's fare, which would have been the second lowest.
Plus it uses dated/incorrect terminology and doesn't show flight details locally; rather when details are desired it goes to the supplier site.
Thanks, but I'll stick with Kayak and ITA.

BZE can be tough to get to cheaply...
Usually save a tonne by picking up www.spirit.com
FLL CUN sometime from $99 each way or so
pick up a cheap mexican directo to Chetumal via Tulum
cross to Belize there.. usually save $500 or so.

If it were me, I'd grab the $700-ish fare before it goes up. It's high season in Belize and you're about three weeks out from your travel dates. I doubt there's suddenly going to be a lowering of fares. If anything, fares will get higher closer to then as the lower fares get snapped up.
