Best City Pairs: ??US - Ushuaia and New Zealand - ??US

Is there a website that will help me figure out best city pairs for a couple of open jaw tickets? Both for pricing and for routing.

We have a 2015 Ross Sea Voyage booked from Ushuaia, Argentina to Invercargill, New Zealand. I realize it's too early to buy the tickets, but I would like to research best city pairs for the two open jaw tickets we will need to buy.

We are flexible in terms of where we fly in and out of here in the US; not concerned about the flights within the US to get home. We can fly out of and return to different cities. I'm just having a hard time determining what those departure and arrival points should be.

(I do have Delta miles that I can use, but the chances are I will have to buy the tickets.)

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

by 2015 the city pairs may be very different. Especially if the AA-US Ar merger is declined.

Thanks ... I'll probably be making the flight arrangements well before 2015 ... but I understand what you're saying.

Use the multi-city option on ITA - http://matrix.itasoftware.com/search.htm

In the first box, type LAX,SFO,DFW,IAH,ORD,NYC,MIA to USH and in the second, IVC to LAX,SFO,DFW,IAH,ORD,NYC,MIA. That should bracket your choices on major originating cities. I'd be surprised if it makes much difference. It's techincally an open-jaw since the unflown leg isn't the longest, but I doubt if it will be priced as such.

Once you see a fare on ITA you ought to be able to re-create it using Expedia or Orbitz.

Except you wouldn't be able to book flights more than a year in advance so the earliest would be a year prior to your trip. Which is still next year.
