Baggage Checked-through on Non-* Alliance?

Jump to last reply

We've always flown *Alliance airlines to Asia, usually connecting in Narita via ANA Airways. This time, and for some reason, I booked a flight that connects through HongKong on Cathay Pacific (One World). Will our baggages be checked through all the way to our final destination, MNL? Or do we need to retrieve them in hongkong and check them in again? This is all on a single ticket issued by United. We've stopover in HKG once but we were flying on AA from the US and continuing on via CX. (one world partners) so no problem with our luggages.

Thank you.
