I was amazed once at LAX when I checked in to Alaskan Airlines and they wheeled our luggage away on a trolley through the airport and general public.

This is a quote from the article, "OK, this is "comparatively". Because as most travellers know, carriers in the US suck. And if the full-service, spend-all-your-money carriers suck, you'd expect the dinky budget airlines to be even worse (and they sometimes are – hi Alaskan Air). So that's why Southwest is such a pleasant surprise."

Is that what you mean, dude?

where are the numbers/polls to back that statement?

That writer is a total loser and no I don't have the numbers/polls to back up my statement but I'm willing to play his game.

Have a wonderful day!

Well if he/she is writing an editorial or personal column then the writer has a right to state private opinion.

If it is a news article then facts need to be checked but not necessarily source given.

Did I remember this all correctly. Its been a long time since college newspaper days!

Maybe, but he would have a stronger argument if he actually backed that up with some facts.
