All day at JFK

In June I will get into JFK at 8am after a redeye from Sacramento. I don't sleep well on planes. Nine hours later that day I take off on an overnight to Milan, IT. So, the question is, how can I get some rest (nap?) at JFK? The concrete benches don't work!

For that long a time I would purchase a day pass into one of the airline lounges. Well worth the $25, $50 or whatever it would be.

Since you're probably not going to sleep on the plane, I'd get a room at an airport hotel.

The club day pass and hotel day room are both good ideas. Here are several more ideas:

Thanks, all. I like the lounge idea. Now I just have to convince my wife that it's worth the cost.....$80 for two of us.

Whoops, I just found out that the Lounge, a lounge that doesn't require a membership, is very small....room for 40 people, and has a 3-hour maximum stay. Not going to work!

Is that an airline lounge, or a generic airport lounge? United & Continental lounges don't have time limits.

From all I've read, Oasis is nicer than The Lounge at T4. And should cost $45 for 5 hours.

And it really helps if you tell us what airline you're flying out to MXP. AA, DL or AZ? If you're flying AA or DL, I'd just get a daypass for their own lounges.
