Alitalia Question

We are flying to Italy on Alitalia in Magnifica Class. Does anyone know whether the seats have power adapters, as I would like to bring a portable DVD player along.
Thank you.

I don't think they do, but the bad news doesn't stop there. Alitalia is one of the few airlines that prohibits any personal electronics during flight, including laptops and DVD players.

On the bright side, you will have your own individual screen with c

Wow, I've certainly never heard of that. At least they do have the personal video--I hope there are some good things to watch.
Thanks AA.

AA--I was actually just poking around Alitalia's web site, and they have a video showing the highlights of their fleet, and one of the things they pointed out was power ports for laptops in Magnifica Class. So maybe they've changed their policies about personal electronics.

Well in that case, I'm happy I was wrong.

I would still call Alitalia and ask what kind of plug they use. I have seen 3 different ones. There is the regular 110V plug(I doubt Alitalia would use that, but who knows?), the cigarette lighter type plug (very common), or the empower plug (a good chance a European carrier would use this type).

Have a great trip!

Thanks AA. I already have an empower plug for my laptop, I'll give them a call.
