airfare.com

Hello
I naively booked a flight on Kayak from Chicago to Rome that used airfare.com. I am pretty worried after seeing the reviews. I know I shouldn't have been so impetuous and done more research, I trusted Kayak a bit too much and was overly excited. I am aware that people usually only take the time to review things if their experiences were negative, so has anybody had any direct experience with airfare.com that wasn't horrible. I already have a ticket number and everything thus for seems normal.
thanks for any help
James

You have a ticket number and confirmed reservation. What specifically are your concerns?

Can you see the reservation on the Aer lingus website using the conf #? If not, can Aer Lingus confirm the reservation when you pick up the phone and call them? If either of those is true then I think you are worrying about nothing.

I called aer lingus and everything seems fine. I even selected my seats , I am just worried I will arrive at the airport to learn that airfare.com has cancelled my ticket I have read that people have had this happen to them

I used airfare.com in 2011 with no issues. I booked 5 people to Paris and the flights were without incident on US Airways. I was able to login to their site just as if I had purchased tickets direct and do everything I needed to such as select seats, check in, etc.
