AA - US merger being challenged

USDOJ and six states plus DC are opposing the American - US Airways merger on the basis that it will reduce competition and result in fewer flights, higher prices. http://tinyurl.com/lus8qda
Well, of course it will! Maybe not at first, but eventually. Hard to drum up a lot of sympathy when revenue and profit are up, due in no small part to the fees introduced for everything from seat assignment to checked (maybe even carry on) baggage.
