AA bankruptcy--should I burn up my miles?

Jump to last reply

I have a trip to Barcelona planned in March and I'm wondering if I should just use my remaining miles for an upgrade and start over with another FF club. This is a paid ticket.

Another question--we have a award tickets booked in Sept to Hawaii, should I have any concerns about that?

I guess my main question is what do you think will happen to AA? I'm hoping they will merge with another airline like CO did, then the mileage points were transferred to the new owner.

Thank in advance for your input.
