Has anyone flown on a 777 and is there noticeably more leg room in the coach section? Thanks in advance for any info you can provide.

My husband and I flew on a 777 last year to Italy. Everything on this plane is noticably different. My husband is 6'1" and he had a few inches between his legs and the seat in front of him. He was impressed with the leg room as well as how wide the seats were. The entertainment system on the plane is also very nice. Everyone get's their own TV and game system. You can select what you want to watch. From about seven movies, about five sitcoms, two or three drama series and a few cartoons. This is a very nice plane and I cannot wait for all of the airlines to use them for flights that take five hours or longer.

Hello <BR> <BR>I have flown many 777s including the 777 300. The 777 is a great aircraft, it really depends on how individual airlines configure the seating. Some will cram you in like sardines in a can and others will give you a little more room to move. With the emergence of DVT issues I am sure things will be forced to change! The 777 has a much more spacious cabing in general, the overheads are sculptured to give more headroom and they are large. I too am 6/1 and find every economy class cabin cramped regardless of aircraft type! <BR> <BR>Happy flying <BR> <BR>Glen

Some airlines are laying out their 777 coach classes in high density 3x5x3 formats. <BR> <BR>Also the air circulation system is faulty and people have been very sick on some flights.

I flew economy class to France on a 777. I am 5'2 and weight 110 lbs. I have never been so cramped and had such an uncomfortable flight! Flew business class this year on a triple 7 and it was fine.
