53 minute layover in el salvador!
Hi I need some advice. My husband and I will be flying to el salvador international airport (SAL) and switching flights to go to lima peru. But we only have 53 min layover! We will be switching airlines too from united to avianca. Is that enough time or even possible?
Also we don't speak amazing Spanish. Is there possibly someone there to help guide us if we can't figure it out? Maybe someone we could call in advance to help us? This is our first time abroad, so super nervous!

Believe it or not, it does work. You don't officially enter El Salvador, so no passport control or customs. You go to your connecting gate.
All signs are in Spanish and English, and everybody who works at the airport will speak English. Any questions when you get there, just ask.

you can walk from one end of the airport to the other in less than 10 min. there is very little there a coffee shop, a subway sandwhich place,a couple other places and a bunch of tourist junk shops.
