3 hours adequate to change flights/airlines in Dublin?

3 hours adequate to change flights/airlines in Dublin?
I'm flying on Delta from the US to Dublin this summer. Trying to get to Copenhagen (one-way) at a reasonable price. There is an SAS flight to Copenhagen leaving 3 hours after the Delta flight arrives. I'm assuming I have to go through customs and immigration in Dublin. Haven't flown through Dublin or on SAS before. Is this enough time to get onto the SAS flight? Carry-on luggage only. Thanks for the advice.

With just carry-on, you'll clear immigration and customs at CPH, not DUB. Ireland doesn't participate in the Schengen visa area, so you'll just be in international transit at DUB, provided you stay inside security for those 3 hours.
Even if you had checked bags, Delta and SAS have interline bag agreements, so you'd fetch your luggage at CPH and go through I & C there, anyway.

I don't mean to confuse things, but aren't Delta and SAS in two different codeshare alliances? And wouldn't that mean that both flights (US-DUB, DUB-CPH) had to be treated as two independent journeys?
And, consequently:
- Would OP be able to get a boarding pass in DUB's transit area for flight to CPH at the gate? (or alternatively use online check-in and print BP while still in the States?)
- And wouldn't different weight/size restriction for cabin luggage apply for either leg of the trip (Delta 40 pounds, SAS 8 kilos = 16 pounds)?
Just curious..

Most major, non-low cost, airlines in the world have interline baggage agreement, so one can check luggage all the way to CPH, even if the two airlines are not in the same alliance. Free allowance can be an issue, though.
I don't know about DUB, but in most major airports of the world, there are transfer desks on the airside so one can get the boarding pass for the next flight there. And increasingly one can just print the BP of the connecting flight at home prior to departure.
