2 for 1 business class to europe this summer?
Hello all,
This is a shot in the dark - is anyone aware of any 2-1 business class flight deals to europe this summer (first 2 weeks of july)?
I am not interested in applying for any credit cards, etc... just wondering if any airline is offering a good deal on business... doesnt even have to be a 2-1.

Continental has business fares for just over $2,000 Newark-Europe. Which is about half the non-summer rate. Other carriers probably have similar.
Also check the all-business carriers like Silverjet, Maxjet and L'Avion.

While checking fares on Iberia (Boston-Madrid) I saw a promotional business class fare for about $1200 on limited number of flights - promotion since this route is new for them. That was only about $200 over coach fare.

If you can get a discount ticket from London (Stansted) to wherever you are going in Europe, MaxJet is offering $599 one-way fares for business class from JFK or Dulles. I used them last August and was pretty happy, but then again, I only paid $799 for a ROUND-TRIP business-class ticket in the middle of summer, so it was hard to complain. If you can pair the MaxJet flight with an EasyJet, RyanAir, or AirBerlin discount flight, you can get a good deal.

American has a fair number of I-class fares (discounted business) this summer - $2400 or so RT NY-Lon for example. That's way less then half the J or D fares, so I guess that constitutes a 2-4-1.
