Wild Safari 3D. A South African Adventure
Has anyone seen this yet?
A new film in 3D playing at local IMAX theaters across the country.

I'll try to get to the IMAX theater here in ATL to see it in the next week or so. Looks pretty interesting.

I felt like Cooncat. I saw it in Vegas last November, it was a great diversion from 11 nights on business but I wasn't overwhelmed by it either -- I have seen many better IMAX films. It's still worth a view.

Boy, I must be slow.. finding out about this a long time after everyone has. :-?
Also found out they're showing it in 2D here, not in 3D, but it may be fun to see it just to kill a weekend afternoon.

I saw it at the Martinis & IMAX in Atlanta in 2D a while back and was pretty disappointed. It seemed like more than half of the time was just the view from a jeep driving around the bush with not an animal in sight. It certainly paled in comparison to the IMAX films Serengeti and Roar. If you're headed to Fernbank I would see the the Amazon or Australia films instead (I haven't yet but will).
