Just seen this on the Mara Plains site .... not sure where they are hiding to be seen so infrequently ! I believe they were least seen in the Naibosho area a year ago ...

Much the same as when three painted dogs were sighted at the very north the Mara North Conservancy about 3-4/yrs ago. A welcomed sight then and so too now at Olare Orok. Doubt these are the same three, but assume if there was a female in this first group, there might have been cubs. But you do know that these amazing animals do wander a wide area and could have been or going to 'anywhere.'

These dogs have been seen at Samburu and Laikipia past few years. Still always amazing. Am waiting my turn
