Who do I have to thank for suggesting Namibia?
Hi from Swakop! Loving Namibia - the landscape is absolutely beautiful - the drives, the dunes, the sea - everything!
I can't recall who suggested it when I was considering our African itinerary - will do a search when I have better speed - but whoever it was - thank you!

Isn't Namibia lovely? Those dunes are breathtaking! Glad to see that you made it to Dead Vlei - one of our favourite places!
My son, who lives in Toronto, tells me that they still haven't had any snow - perhaps winter is awaiting your return!
If you you need somewhere for dinner in Swako try the dinning room at the Beach Lodge - it is where the locals eat!
